Brock Booher

Brock Booher's passion for aviation began when low-flying military aircraft streaked over his boyhood farm in Kentucky. After earning his wings in the United States Air Force, he flew the A-10 Thunderbolt II in tactical operations and served as an instructor pilot in the T-37.

Transitioning to commercial aviation, Booher established himself as a distinguished Boeing 737 captain with over 16,000 flight hours for a major U.S. carrier. His expertise in pilot development led to roles as Check Pilot and Standards Check Pilot where he evaluated hundreds of pilots, trained Instructors and Evaluators, and helped develop the curriculum for an ab initio training program.

Beyond the cockpit, Booher has taught courses on time management, risk management, and leadership. His writing has been published in magazines, nonfiction books, short stories, and novels.

Today, as a founder of Hilo Aviation, Booher is strategically pursuing the integration of AI-driven products into pilot training and aviation risk management.
