His aviation experience includes serving as both a pilot and instructor on the Boeing 777 and Embraer 170. He has also worked in airline pilot recruiting, developed curricula for Part 121 training programs, and worked extensively in aviation instructional design and competency-based training and assessment. His background encompasses airline operations as well as the design, delivery, and evaluation of professional pilot training.
Before entering aviation, Zack served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper and reconnaissance team chief, including deployments to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He brings to the NFTA Board extensive experience in airline operations, professional pilot development, flight-school leadership, training innovation, and aviation workforce development.
